LOOFAHS

A loofah, also spelled luffa, is a genus of tropical and subtropical vines in the cucumber family. It grows long vines which produce large fruits resembling a cucumber or squash. These can be eaten when young, but as they grow and become ripened, the insides become very fibrous forming the sponge. The sponge can be used in the shower to clean and exfoliate your skin. It also works great to clean just about anything including bathrooms and kitchens!

Benefits

There are many benefits to using natural loofah sponges. One benefit is they are made of natural ingredients and plant fibers rather than plastics and synthetics, which make them 100% compostable and biodegradable so they won’t end up in a landfill somewhere. Our homegrown loofah sponges are better for your body and the environment than traditional loofahs or bath poufs, Loofah sponges are a natural solution to dry skin and rough spots.
